SCAM ALERT!
The Kentucky Board of Nursing has received reports of fraudulent calls that appear to come from the Board’s phone number. Scammers may claim that drugs or packages have been linked to your identity, threaten an investigation or license suspension, and ask you to verify credit card or other financial information..

PLEASE REMEMBER, when KBN investigates, a written Notice of Complaint is mailed to the licensee's address of record. The notification is never by phone. All KBN investigations are confidential. However, Board staff can confirm the existence of an investigation.

If you receive a suspicious phone call — do not provide any information.
Terminate the call immediately.
Contact the KBN directly at 502-429-3300 to confirm whether your license is under investigation.
If the caller states they are law enforcement, contact that agency directly.
