Yesterday, we were honored to celebrate the expansion of the UofL Kosair for Kids Center for Pediatric NeuroRecovery, an exciting milestone for children and families across our community. 💙🙌

This moment is especially meaningful to Ronald McDonald House Louisville because many of the families we serve rely on the specialized therapies and care provided through this program during their stay at our House.

We're also proud to have Dr. Behrman, a member of our Board of Directors, helping lead this important work to advance recovery and improve outcomes for children and families.

Meet Lizzie and Lettie! 💛

Before they were even born, these identical twin sisters were already proving how strong they were.

During pregnancy, they were diagnosed with Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS), a rare and life-threatening condition. After months of specialist appointments, constant monitoring, and fetal surgery, they were born on August 19, 2025, just one minute apart.

What followed has been months filled with setbacks, victories, and countless long hospital days. Through it all, their parents were able to stay close with the help of Ronald McDonald House, celebrating every milestone and facing every challenge alongside their daughters.

For families like Lizzie and Lettie's, being close to the care their daughters need makes all the difference.
