District 7 Probate Judges met today in Jefferson County for our District Meeting, which included mental health training. Our courts carry a unique responsibility in serving the community, and ongoing training ensures that we are equipped to better assist individuals and families facing mental health challenges.

A special thank you to Judge D’Antonio and the DBHDD representatives for providing valuable instruction and insight. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and strengthen the services we provide.

The Jefferson County Probate Court Shall remained closed until the damages to the Jefferson County Courthouse can be assessed. Updates will be posted when more information is provided.

NOTICE:

An Order Declaring Judicial Emergency has been put into place by our Chief Superior Court Judge. All filing deadlines for the Jefferson County Probate Court Shall be extended. More information will be provided when power is restored and we are able to return to the Jefferson County Probate Office.

This Order also includes all other courts for Jefferson County. Please refer to the Court in which your case is assigned for additional details after Power is restored in the county.
