Woohoo~thanks to our AMAZING team we are OPEN! We are still reorganizing a few rooms and need to replace some items but everything is moving forward. Donations to support clean up and rebuilding efforts can still be made at: slcm.org.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we do a little forced spring cleaning!

On Monday night, a pipe burst and flooded most of our first floor. We’re currently working to dry out the walls and replace the carpet so we can safely reopen the space. We are hoping to open the food pantry on Monday, but we may need a little extra help to make that happen!

If you’re able to volunteer some time during the work day on Monday or Tuesday, please email [email protected] with your availability.

Important! Our main office has experienced flooding. So sorry but our food/immediate needs pantry is closed until Monday! Please share. Appointments with navigators, utility clinics, etc. are still on as scheduled unless your worker tell you otherwise! Staff is available via phone and email. Additional food pantries can be found at

More than $30,000 raised—not by a few, but by many.

At Families Helping Families, the average gift was $100—a reminder that real change is built collectively.

We’re thankful to Louisville Metro Council and Districts 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 21, 22, 24, and 25 for making it possible for those gifts to go directly to our programs.
