is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that supports our classmates and provides donations to other recognized charitable, educational or scientific non-profit organizations. The purposes of the Association shall be to foster a spirit of camaraderie and goodwill, enhance
the welfare of, and facilitate interactions between members of the 1975 graduating class of
Louisville High School

(the “Class”), for as long as said Association remains in existence, and
for as long as the Louisville City School District (the “District”) remains organized exclusively
for charitable, educational or scientific purposes under Sections 501(c)(3) and 170(b)(1)(A) of
the United States (U.S.) Internal Revenue Law)

We have big plans for our 40th-year reunion coming up on Labor Day weekend, September 4th and 5th, 2015. As most of you already know, our classmate, David Elkins, passed away a few days ago after a valiant struggle with cancer. We post this notification here for anyone in our class or any of Dave's friends who might not have heard about this from another source. Dave was watched over and comforted in his last days by two of our other classmates, Robin (Cavnah) Watson and Dora (Bosley) Silvis, until he died peacefully in his sleep at about noon this past Wednesday, June 18th. Rest in peace my friend, we will meet again!
