The April 2nd performance with singer/songwriter Dawn Landes in Norris Theatre has unfortunately been canceled. Efforts are underway to have her appear at a date yet to be determined.

Norris Theatre – Louisburg College

A 1980 graduate of Louisburg College, Bowling has written over ten books on different topics including Granville County history. He also writes a weekly history column in The Ledger News. For this appearance he will discuss the history of Duke University Men's basketball.

Bowling is author of Wallace Wade: Championship Years at Alabama and Duke, Duke Basketball: A Pictorial History and writer for Go Duke the Magazine. He has taught Duke Sports History at Duke University and is currently writing a book on Duke basketball coach and athletic director Eddie Cameron.

This event is free to the public, and tickets are not required.

Travis Cherry is a two-time Grammy-nominated American music producer, musician and songwriter from Raleigh, North Carolina. He has worked with artists such as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Keith Sweat, Jennifer Lopez and Snoop Dogg. He also attended Louisburg College in the 1990s.

Cherry will speak at the Jones Performing Arts Center at Louisburg College on Thursday, January 22 at 11 am. He will discuss his rise to fame in the music industry.

The Tar River Center for History and Culture would like to invite you to some upcoming events at the JPAC.

Travis Cherry is a two-time Grammy-nominated American music producer, musician and songwriter from Raleigh, North Carolina. He has worked with artists such as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Keith Sweat, Jennifer Lopez and Snoop Dogg. He also attended Louisburg College in the 1990s.

Cherry will speak at the Jones Performing Arts Center at Louisburg College on Thursday, January 22 att 11 am. He will discuss his rise to fame in the music industry.

Coming up on Feb 19 is author Lewis Bolling, who will discuss the history of Duke basketball. This event is in the Norris Theatre at 7pm.

On Apr 2, North Carolina singer-songwriter Dawn Landes will also perform in the Norris Theatre at 7pm.

We had a great time on Tuesday at the JPAC to honor our veterans. First there was a performance by the Louisburg High School Band and Chorus, followed by a great meal provided by the Epsom Fire Department.

Due to the ongoing government shutdown, the 440th Army Band scheduled to perform at the JPAC on Tuesday, Nov 11 has been canceled.

In honor of our veterans, The Louisburg High School Band and Chorus will now come and perform patriotic music at 11 am on the JPAC stage.

Admission is free to the public, and tickets are not required.
