Saturday programs await you at the Louisburg and Youngsville libraries this weekend! ABC Craft & Learn (10:30am) is suitable for children ages 3-5 and features a story and alphabet craft centered on a new letter of the alphabet each week. Steam Free Play (2:00pm) is a STEAM-based drop-in program for school age kids where participants explore various creative engineering materials for imagination-inspired unstructured learning. Items available may include Keva Planks, Zoobs, Picasso Tiles, and more. See you there!

Tuesday, September 15th is National Voter Registration Day, and the Louisburg, Youngsville and Bunn libraries will each host a representative from the Franklin County Board of Elections to assist patrons with the voter registration process from 3-6pm.

The new bestsellers this week include "Fury in Death," "This Is Me: A Reckoning," and "Hollow Bones."

ADULTS! Join us at the Louisburg Library on the second Thursday of each month for our Fiber Arts Meetup! Gather your yarn, threads, and current projects for a morning of creativity and community. Whether you knit, crochet, embroider, or work with any other textiles, bring your own work-in-progress to craft alongside fellow makers of all skill levels. The group's first meeting is on Thursday, September 10th from 10am-12pm. See you there!

The school-age program is FULL! 🤯🐝 THANK YOU to everyone who has registered for the K-5th Grade portion of this event and helped get us to capacity so quickly! There is still space available for the 6th-12th grade portion of this program for any aspiring teen beekeepers out there. Join us on Friday mornings in September at the beautiful Franklinton Park for a Baby Storytime program led by Franklin County Library, sensory exploration and coffee with Franklin County NC Parks & Recreation , and health education & resources provided by Franklin County NC Health Department RIMC program! ☕️👶 See you there!

Does your school-age child or teen go ape over apiaries? 🐝🐝🐝Then we have the perfect program for you! Join us on Thursday, September 10th at the Louisburg Library as we welcome Sarah and Oakley Hinchmann from the Franklin County Beekeeping Association for "The Buzz About Bees". Participants will learn all about the fascinating world of beekeeping and honey production at a program tailored for their age group: Kindergarten-5th grade at 2:00 pm, 6th-12th grade at 3:30 pm.
