MAJOR TRIUMPH FOR THE LOUISBURG MUSTANGS! 💙🐎

We have a monumental accomplishment to celebrate at Louisburg Elementary School! Following the 2025-26 state accountability release, LES has officially EXITED Low-Performing School status and elevated its School Performance Grade to a "C"—jumping an incredible 8 points in its performance score! 🎉

Guided by our district theme, , the teachers, staff, and students at LES put in relentless work to shed the low-performing label and showcase what Mustang pride is all about:

📊 Overall Composite: Reached 51% GLP (an +8.5 point gain from last year!)
🏆 State Designation: NO LONGER LOW-PERFORMING!
🔬 5th Grade Science: A stellar 69% proficiency!
🧮 NC Math: 50% proficiency!
🌱 Growth Status: MET state academic growth standards!

A BIG thank you to Wake Electric!

Louisburg Elementary would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Wake Electric for providing breakfast for our staff this morning! What a wonderful way to help us fuel up and kick off the new school year!

Today, we had the honor of welcoming the Louisburg Magnet High School Class of 2026 back to Louisburg Elementary School for a special Victory Walk! 🎓🧡💙

Our seniors walked the halls where so many of their memories began, revisited childhood photos, and were celebrated by our Louisburg Elementary students and staff with cheers, applause, and bubbles filling the air! To top it all off, they ended their visit with some fun on the playground — just like old times.

We are so proud of the incredible young adults they have become and are excited to see all they accomplish in the future. Congratulations, LMHS Class of 2026! We wish you the very best of luck in your next chapter! 🎉✨
