Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a missing person case involving Nicholas Michael Fuller. Last known location was Paintsville KY earlier this week. Anyone with information please contact the Paintsville/Johnson County 911 dispatch at (606) 789-4221, or the Kentucky State Police at (606) 433-7711

UPDATE- Jun 13th - 6:15pm
Our mechanical failure has been restored. Please help us by continuing to conserve water this evening as we work overnight to restore our tank levels to full capacity.
Remember our water quality is completely sufficient and therefore NO BOIL WATER ADVISORY is needed. Thank everyone for your patience and understanding.

OFFICIAL WATER CONSERVATION ADVISORY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOUISA, Ky - Due to a mechanical failure at the Louisa Water Plant, a Water Conservation
Advisory is being issued for all customers served by the Louisa Water System.
Customers are asked to use water for essential purposes only until further notice. Conserving
water is necessary to maintain adequate water supply and system pressure while repairs are
being completed.
Essential water use includes:
* Drinking water
* Cooking and food preparation
* Personal hygiene and sanitation
* Necessary household cleaning
* Medical and health-related needs
Please avoid all non-essential water use, including:
* Watering lawns, gardens, and landscaping
* Washing vehicles
* Filling swimming pools
* Pressure washing homes, sidewalks, or driveways
* Any unnecessary outdoor water usage
Water system personnel are actively working to repair the mechanical issue and restore normal
operations as quickly as possible. Additional updates will be provided as information becomes
available.
We appreciate the cooperation and patience of all customers during this time.
This is NOT a boil water advisory water quality is NOT impacted.

Today will be drier but still hot. A cold front brings potential for showers and a few strong storms on Sunday, primarily in the afternoon. After a mild and fairly quiet start to the new work week, chances of showers and storms increase again mid to late week.

Rain and storms will accompany a cold front across the area today, with potential for severe storms to develop in the afternoon and evening. Damaging winds are the main threat, though hail and heavy downpours may also occur. Weekend Outlook: Saturday will be drier, then another front arrives on Sunday.
