With the lake level and temperatures now rising, this is a good reminder to use the proper safety equipment! Yatesville lake is not a heavily travelled lake sometimes and you may not be found in time! A life vest does you no good on the floor of the boat or hidden away in a compartment! Please be safe this summer around water !

We would like to thank Louisa Fire Dept. , Kentucky State Fire Rescue Training Districts 11,9 and 15 for the awesome training offered to us this weekend at the EKFA spring fire school. Several of our fire fighters joined with firefighters from all around the region to train and hone their skills in order to keep their communities safe.
