Dear Veterans, Auxiliary, and Community Members of VFW Post 5150,

On behalf of our Post leadership, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and effort to place flags at the headstones of veterans in four local cemeteries as part of our Memorial Day recognition.

Your dedication and willingness to serve continue to reflect the very best traditions of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Every flag placed represents more than a symbol; it is a visible reminder that the sacrifices of our nation's heroes will never be forgotten. Through your work, families and community members visiting these cemeteries are reminded that freedom has always come at a cost, paid for by brave men and women who answered the call to serve.

Memorial Day is not simply the start of summer or a long weekend. It is a sacred time to pause, reflect, and honor those who gave their lives in defense of our country and our freedoms. By taking part in this tradition, we fulfill an important commitment: to preserve the memory of the fallen, support one another as veterans, and demonstrate t o our community that service and patriotism still matter deeply.

Thank you again for your hard work, your continued service, and your commitment to honoring our brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice. VW Post 5150 stands proud because of members like you.

Watching your journey has been incredible. Nearly 2,000 miles completed and so close to the finish line. Through the heat, hills, and long days, you continue to inspire all of us with your determination and heart. We are so proud to call you one of our Auxiliary members and can’t wait to cheer you across that finish line! 🚴‍♀️🇺🇸

We’re proud to support such a great group of young anglers and coaches! Watching these students represent Loudon with hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication makes it an easy team to get behind.

Thank you to the Loudon Redskin Bass Team for everything you do, and we’re honored to be a small part of your success. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings.
