Rest in Peace Gloria Ortega. You are remembered by those of us that worked with you and knew you all these years. Though you left the Department you were still family.

As a Volunteer organization, it makes it more difficult to cover the costs of disposable supplies. EMS funding in a poor economy and one with tight budgets are the first to be cut. First responders, though vital to a community are what some call a necessary evil.
