Come join us at Castle Rock State Park for Earth Day!
Whether you are here for a guided hike, a self guided hike, here to climb, or just looking for a fun activity to do, come to Castle Rock State Park for our DIY seed pod activity!
If you donโt mind getting your hands a little dirty, come join us in making your own seed balls. You can help all the awesome native pollinators, like butterflies and bees, by creating a seed pod with some of our local native wildflowers. We will have three-seed mixes, there will be California Bluebells (phacelia campanularia), the California poppy (Eschscholzia californica) and some lovely lupines (Lupinus constancei). You donโt need a yard to help out the pollinators, you can put these in a pot with some soil on a balcony or any outside space big or small. We will have all the materials and help guide you in making your own seed pod. All you have to do is show up!
Address: 15451 Skyline Blvd Los Gatos, CA 95033
Saturday April 22nd, From 12pm-2pm
