Alta Vista HSC's MOVIE NIGHT is on the evening of Friday, September 25th! As a grand finale to Walk-n-Roll Week, our winners be announced at the event! More information and volunteer information coming soon. See you there!

CALLING ALL CREATIVE STUDENTS! This is your chance to design the official logo for this year's "Boot Scootin' Walkathon"!

The winning design will be featured in our Walkathon T-shirts, WAT Website, and Walkathon Communications!

Boot Scootin' Theme: Think Western, cowboy hats, boots, horses, bandanas, and all things country!

Contest details:
-Your design can be black & white, or color
-Designs may be hand-drawn or originally computer-generated
-Designs must fit on an 8.5"-11" sheet of paper
-Please drop off your design at the school office on Tuesday, September 15, before 3:30 PM

Please include:
-Student's name
-Grade
-Teacher's name
-Parent/ guardian email address

The winner will be announced and contacted on Wednesday, September 16th during the ROAR assembly!

Mr. Barbara will select the winning design.

So grab your pencils, crayons, markers, or computer and get creative! We can't wait to see your Boot Scootin' designs!

✨Have you met Coach Kevin??✨

This year, the Home and School Club has funded this amazing coach so the 1st-5th graders have access to organized games on the upper field EVERY DAY at lunch!

As a yard duty volunteer, I'm extra excited about this. Having both open ended play AND organized games during free time helps students regulate during class time, build crucial motor and social skills, and love being at school!

Make your annual donation to our 😺C.A.G.E. Drive😺 to ensure that we can continue having wonderful resources like Coach Kevin to Create And Give Enrichment to our children!

You can also join the Garden Club, Mileage Club, and Dad's Club! This is also the place to sign up to help with planning or helping at the bookfaire, family dance, fantasy fair, movie night spring auction, multicultural night, walkathon, yearbooks, and spirit wear!

🍦🍕Pizza and Ice Cream Social🍕🍦

Wow, ANOTHER dinner this week that our school has figured out for us! Join us on Friday between 5:30-7 for FREE pizza and ice cream!

Personally, I'm excited to finally have an opportunity to reconnect with other grown ups I haven't seen all summer, and to meet and welcome all the new Alta Vista families! We love our community 🥰
