Today, the Cameron County Constable Pct. 4 Office had the privilege of assisting with patrol operations and being part of the 2026 South Padre Island Beach Run.

This event brought together Bronco enthusiasts from across South Texas, showcasing community, camaraderie, and a shared passion for the outdoors. Chief Deputy Dagoberto Perales was also present, representing our office and displaying our department’s Ford Bronco.

We appreciate the opportunity to help ensure a safe and successful event for all participants and visitors. Thank you to the organizers and everyone involved for allowing us to be part of it.

On behalf of Constable Burnias, Chief Deputy Perales, and the entire PCT. 4 staff, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week to the Cameron County Sheriff's Office Telecommunicators.

Behind every call for service is a calm, steady voice guiding the situation. Your ability to remain composed under pressure, gather critical information, and coordinate responders is what keeps our deputies—and our community—safe. You are the unseen first responders, and your impact is felt in every successful outcome.

We are grateful for the dedication, professionalism, and commitment you show day in and day out, not only to our office but to every agency across Cameron County. Your work does not go unnoticed, and it is truly appreciated.

We wish each of you a well-deserved and meaningful week of recognition.
