Curren Price public corruption case update: The trial setting conference scheduled for today was not held, but attorney Michael V. Schafler was present and conferred with Deputy District Attorney Casey C. Higgins in the hallway before the two went into the courtroom. There is no indication that Price has filed an appeal of Judge Fidler’s ruling. The case has been put over until December 11—notably, after the election. Could there be a deal on the table? Watch this space!

In February, preservation pal msrandomnotes1 sounded the alarm about the E. Clem Wilson Building (Meyer & Holler, 1929) on Wilshire. DA Nathan Hochman just charged four vandals who been defacing tall L.A. landmarks, including city employee ENDEM and SKEAM.
