As we begin a new week, we're reflecting on the incredible community that showed up for our Community Voices Advocacy Day in Sacramento this past May.
Families, providers, partners, and staff from across Los Angeles County traveled to the State Capitol to make one thing clear: early care and education matters. The families, children, and providers at the heart of this work deserve to be seen, heard, and supported.
While Advocacy Day may be behind us, our work is far from over.
The voices raised in Sacramento continue to fuel a growing movement for children, families, and the early care and education workforce. Together, we demonstrated the power of collective advocacy and the importance of ensuring community voices are heard where decisions are made.
But we can't do it alone.
