At Los Angeles Public Library, our mission is to provide free and easy access to information, ideas, books and technology that enrich, educate and empower every individual in our city's diverse communities. At West LA Library you can connect with our online catalog, subscription databases, word processing, language learning, literacy and a large historic document and photograph collection. Browse our book stacks the old fashioned way or download free eBooks, eAudio books and music off our website. Bring your children and watch a library story time program with puppets and songs. Get help with research by talking to a reference librarian. Bring your laptop and use our free wifi and wireless printing. In summer, teens and kids can join a reading club and win prizes. And don’t forget to check out some new movies or stream them with our eMedia. All this and much more is available at all 72 LAPL branch libraries as well as downtown’s Central Library.
