“No country can be great until the least of its citizens has been touched by beauty, truth, and freedom; unless all three radiate from this little hill it is as nothing.” — Aline Barnsdall on her ambitions for Barnsdall Art Park.

Hollyhock House will be closed July 2-4. We hope everyone has a weekend full of beauty, truth, and freedom.

On Hollyhock House’s west lawn, City of Dance meets Aline Barnsdall’s century-old vision for art in public life. With this performance, movement will be brought back to Olive Hill, honoring the site’s history as a shared, creative space, while inviting Angelenos to experience dance woven into its architecture.
