2026 REAB Traveling Symphony presents: Voices in Harmony: Collective Storytelling & Sound with TeAda Productions

Workshop 1: The Community Narrative -- 1-2pm
Join multidisciplinary artists from TeAda Productions for an interactive workshop where audience members become creators through the unique TeAda Methodology. After viewing excerpts from acclaimed works Refugee Nation and Masters of the Currents, participants will engage in a devised ensemble process to build a collective community poem.

Workshop 2: The Symphony of Us -- 2-3pm
Experience the "symphony" of community storytelling in this high-energy, collaborative session led by multidisciplinary facilitators. Participants will explore the process of creating sounds through vocalization, culminating in a facilitated "Sound Jam" where every voice contributes a unique vocal phrase and story as a collective.

Join us for an engaging, multi-part program exploring Armenian heritage and diaspora identity through the lens of culinary traditions, memories, and personal narratives, featuring journalist Liana Aghajanian. Liana’s work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, and other publications. She has a project tracing Armenian food stories and legacy in America called Dining in Diaspora.

This program will include a discussion with Liana about her experience documenting foodways and individual histories in the Armenian diaspora, followed by a showcase of some of her favorite ingredients used in Armenian cooking. There will also be a guided or take home zine-making activity for participants to practice documenting their own family recipes, food memories, and cultural heritage.

All ages are welcome to attend, and all materials will be provided.
