On this solemn and historic day, the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we remember the almost 3,000 lives taken that day, and we uplift them. Our hearts are with their families and all who loved them, the survivors, the brave first responders and everyone affected by this day that changed us. And we think about how communities came together as a testament to resilience and how we can carry forward that legacy. We stand strong and share our love. And we will never forget. ❤️

For paid vacations, weekends, paid sick leave, safer working conditions, healthcare and retirement benefits, child labor laws and so much more - thank unions and the workers who fought hard for these wins.

The HTA is focused on changing lives and uplifting communities through strong partnerships with leaders and organizations that share this commitment. It was great meeting with Jorge Marquez - Chief Impact Officer at Goodwill Southern California and Chair of the Los Angeles County Workforce Development Board - about opportunities to collaborate around the power of workforce development training and what we can achieve, together. - with HTA Executive Director Adine Forman and Deputy Director Adrineh Terantonians.

Remembering Ittai Rodriguez

Dear HTA Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that Ittai Rodriguez, a recent graduate of HTA’s Prep Cook program, tragically lost her life in a car accident this past weekend.

Ittai was a bright and enthusiastic member of the HTA community with a promising future ahead of her. We are heartbroken by this sudden and profound loss.

Our deepest condolences are with Ittai’s family, friends, classmates and instructors, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

We mourn her loss and will remember the joy and determination Ittai brought to the HTA community.
