Court deadlines do not move because your network is down. Hearings do not wait because an attorney cannot connect remotely. Clients do not care that a file server is having a bad day.

For law firms, the real problem with slow IT support is that the clock keeps moving while the technology does not.

🎬✨ A Night of Old Hollywood Glamour! ✨🎬

LACBA’s Family Law Section brought the magic of Old Hollywood to the Skirball Cultural Center for its 2026–2027 Installation Dinner and Show! With a “Hooray for Hollywood” theme, more than 400 guests enjoyed a red-carpet evening of entertainment, music, dancing, and celebration.

The evening also welcomed the new Section officers including Chair Tigran Palyan and honored:

🚨 Jury Duty Scam Alert

The Superior Court of Los Angeles County is warning residents about a reported jury duty scam involving callers who falsely claim that someone missed jury service and has an outstanding warrant.

⚠️ Remember: The Court will never threaten arrest, demand immediate payment, or request Social Security numbers, credit card details, or bank information by phone or email.

If you receive a suspicious jury-related message, do not provide personal information, make payments, click links, or respond. Verify your jury service status through official Court resources.

Help spread the word and protect yourself and others from jury duty scams.
