The Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness, Inc., known as GLAD, has been improving the overall well-being of deaf* people since its creation in 1969. Recognizing the diversity of our communities, GLAD believes in supporting personal choice of communication mode(s). All persons, regardless of hearing loss, race, color, religion, national origin or citizenship status, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, pregnancy, age, disability, and military status, are welcome at GLAD.

*When we use “deaf”, GLAD refers to all deaf people, including those who are deafblind, deaf disabled, and hard of hearing.

Before stopping by Panda Express, please order online for either pick up. Ordering at the restaurant will not be accepted. All Panda Express restaurants open from 9 AM to 11:30 PM (Depending on locations).

This is an important message from the City of Los Angeles NotifyLA System

A Heat Advisory has been issued for the City of Los Angeles beginning Tuesday, September 8 through Wednesday, September 9 at 8:00 AM.

Beginning Wednesday, September 9 at 8:00 AM, the Heat Advisory will transition to an Extreme Heat Warning, which will remain in effect through Thursday, September 10 at 8:00 PM.

Forecasted temperatures are expected to reach 92-108 degrees. Humid conditions will add to heat risk. Heat will peak on Wednesday for most areas.

During this heat event, it is important to be proactive from heat exposure. As temperatures rise, the City of Los Angeles urges Angelenos to plan and prepare to avoid heat exhaustion in your communities and for yourself. Call 311 to identify the cooling facilities closest to you, or visit the https://bit.ly/CoolSpotsLAApp or find an updated list of open centers at this link: https://emergency.lacity.gov/heat
