On this Father’s Day, while many are at home with loved ones, our Wilshire B Watch Officers continue to stand watch, answering every call with courage and commitment. Their dedication doesn’t rest — not even on the seventh day.

🚨 **Wilshire Division Patrol - Watch 3 in Action!** 🚨
Last night, officers displayed exceptional teamwork and dedication.

After pursuing a vehicle filled with gang members, the driver crashed the car. Officers swiftly apprehended three of the four suspects, recovering three fi****ms in the process.

But the story didn’t end there! The fourth suspect fled and attempted to hide in a car lot. Enter K9-1 Jenkins and the energetic K9 Redo. With their expertise and determination, the suspect surrendered almost immediately upon their arrival.

Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspects responsible for assaulting a man in broad daylight.
On February 22, 2025, around 5:00 p.m., Wilshire Area officers responded to the area of San Vicente Boulevard and Carrillo Drive for an Assault with Deadly Weapon investigation.
Anyone with information on the crime committed by the above suspects is urged to call Wilshire Area’s Detective Carlos, Serial No. 41244, at (213)

In order to disable the alarm and security camera systems (which rely on electricity/WiFi), prior to making entry residential burglary suspects have recently been shutting down the power at the electrical panels, which are typically located outside of the residence and easily accessible (e.g., side yard etc). Based on these recent incidents, we are encouraging our residential communities to:

Consider locking/securing your electrical panels (if they happened to be easily accessible/located outside),
Improve/update the lighting on the perimeters of your residence.
Lock/secure the side gates or access to the side/back yard.

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for our area. Starting Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning, we can expect extremely high windswith gusts reaching up to 100 mph.

* Areas not typically affected by windstorms will be impacted.
* Expect potential power outages and downed trees.
* High fire danger due to dry conditions and strong winds.
Safety Tips:
* Secure outdoor objects that could become projectiles.

We had an amazing time at the Gift Giveaway organized by Officer Lazo for the students of Alta Loma Elementary. It was a heartwarming event with Captain Julie Rodriguez lending a helping hand and LAPD K9 Zotya bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.
A big thank you to Earth Cafe for providing their delicious food, making the event even more special.
