How to Vote for the Slate:

➡️ You must be a registered Democrat to vote and you must REGISTER to receive your ballot by January 11th here: https://ademelections.com/?isCandidate=False

➡️ A unique voter registration ID will be emailed to you. Save this information in order to vote.

➡️ AFTER January 6th, you will receive your paper ballot by mail. Complete the ballot and send it via mail right away - no later than JANUARY 22nd to allow for delivery by January 27th.

Greetings! We are still active politically, but we are not currently
running for ADEMS collectively from what initially brought this group together in 2019. We are a self-made group, and still interconnected with one another for moral support. Updates on our individual progress and projects regarding voter outreach and voter education will be posted as admin acquires up-to-date links. Some of us have ran for office and other public service positions and won!!! Some of us have moved into other areas within the state, and remain committed to service in the community. We are still Unity in the Community, yet our boundaries have expanded beyond the 73rd Assembly District of California.

Representing South County as “From Resistance to Persistence: A Grassroots Conference” hosted by Reps. Karen Bass and Julia Brownley!

We’re advocating for a “Community First” approach to organizing and advocacy. What better way to advance progressive democratic policies like Medicare for All, community choice energy, living wage, etc., than to make make them popular enough for our elected officials to VOTE for them!

The best way to “have our elected officials’ backs” is to actively educate our constituency on issues that will positively impact our lives, and then SHOW them how hard our elected officials are fighting for those issues! Let’s change the way we do politics. Let’s flip the script. Let’s make it “safe” to do what’s “right” 🌹

Campaigning is expensive, even with a "boots on the ground" model. We like to walk the walk, and while we do our own design in-house, we believe in fully compensating any and all labor performed outside of the slate - including the design and management of our website, and the printing of our BEAUTIFUL slate cards by union printer, Press Printing.

If you are able, any contribution will help offset the out-of-pocket costs of running to represent our community in the largest State Democratic Party in the nation.

In bittersweet news, Mahmoud El-Farra has had to step away from slating for ADEMs because of an advocacy commitment to one of his incredible organizations. We are all still strongly supporting Mahmoud for Assembly District Delegate, and are BEYOND excited to announce our newest (and FINAL) slate member, Parshan Khosravi ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
