Shoutout to Core-Member Anaís Azul | Singer-songwriter & Educator , who performed at our event last October at a storytelling and healing clinic event.

Featuring six world premieres performed by an all-trans string quartet and vocal octet, this concert offers a new lexicon of trans experience expressed through an array of musical styles. Don’t miss an unforgettable selection of songs about belonging, identity, joy, and more!

Catch Gender Justice LA at the Connie Norman for this months TGI Friday! Happy Pride!!

In recognition of Pride Month, the City of Los Angeles Transgender Advisory Council is hosting our fifth TGI2+ Resource Fair on Friday, June 26 at the Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center.

This community-centered, resource-driven gathering is focused on increasing access to critical support services, strengthening social connectedness, and affirming the lives and leadership of transgender, gender-nonconforming, nonbinary, intersex, and two-spirit (TGI2+) Angelenos.

Gender Justice LA recognizes the need to slow down, rest and take care in these times. As part of our Culture of Care, GJLA Staff receives additional breaks throughout the year (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall).

The GJLA Center will be closed from June 15th to June 22nd, 2026.

We will pick up our reg. scheduled programming when our team returns from Summer Break.
