Wishing a blessed Eid al-Adha to our entire community across the nation and globally. As we celebrate today, we hope your homes are filled with joy, abundance, and the presence of those you hold dear.

This Eid is particularly moving as we look toward Mecca. This year, over 1.7 million pilgrims from 165 nationalities successfully stood together on the plains of Arafat for the Hajj pilgrimage. They journeyed from every corner of the earth, all driven by a singular, profound devotion to complete this sacred pillar of faith.

To the members of our community who were blessed to make the journey this year, we say: Hajj Mabroor, Wa Sa’i Mashkoor, Wa Thanb Maghfoor (May your Hajj be accepted, your efforts rewarded, and your sins forgiven).

MPAC is documenting an 11-fold increase in threats and attacks on American Muslim communities- and this shooting in San Diego is a direct byproduct of the hate fueled by fringe influencers like Amy Mek and Laura Loomer as well as a number of elected officials in the Sharia-Free America Caucus!

At MPAC, both our Center for Security, Technology, and Policy and our Center for Government Impact have observed a clear uptick in anti-Muslim rhetoric and legislation.

This trend coincides with the emergence of the so-called “Sharia Free America Caucus,” which now claims 65 members, surpassing the size of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Representative Chip Roy—an outspoken member who helped launch the caucus alongside Keith Self—has now introduced the “MAMDANI Act,” a piece of legislation that further targets Muslims under the guise of combating Islamic fundamentalism and communism while actively hampering the First Amendment, namely free speech and religious freedom.

This war with Iran was a strategic mistake.

Oversold, miscalculated, and now unfolding with real consequences, abroad and at home. It is weakening U.S. credibility, fueling instability, and deepening division, while Americans bear the economic and social costs of yet another endless war.
But across the country, people are pushing back. We’re releasing a new Iran War paper soon with recommendations…and we need your voice.

Stay tuned for the release tomorrow!

We are disgusted, though not surprised, by these remarks. The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) strongly condemns the President’s message referencing “praise be to Allah” in a way that trivializes and politicizes the Muslim faith.

Invoking sacred expressions of worship for rhetorical effect, especially when detached from genuine understanding or belief, undermines their spiritual significance and disrespects millions of American Muslims.
