Job Summary:
We are looking for a major player on our team. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with a track record of successful project management experience and the ability to track and manage multiple projects. Must be well versed with all aspects of fire protection systems.
Position Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
• Coordinate with clients including owners, architects, project PM/Superintendent.
• Review construction plans & specification to ensure our internal team and fire sprinkler plans meet project requirements.
• Manage and submit financial reports of project progress and detailed cost of goods including all material, labor, and equipment.
• Conduct weekly project meetings with the internal construction team.
• Create and process change orders as required.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service, strong organization skills, and a positive attitude.
• Submit weekly project summary report for review by upper management.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years in of fire protection industry.
• Wealth of knowledge with NFPA codes
• Knowledge of wet/dry sprinkler systems, fire pumps, standpipe, preaction, and some special hazard systems.
• Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skill is a must.
• Computer literate
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Outstanding relationship-building skill
• Must be self-starter and self-motivated.
