This September, Villa Albertine Hollyhock House, Mezzanine, Films on the Green Festival mark 250 years of French-American friendship with a free outdoor screening of MODEL SHOP (1969), the only English-language film by New Wave master Jacques Demy, and one of the great cinematic portraits of L.A.
🎞️ Follow a slacker architect as he trails a mysterious model across the city, from Malibu to Beverly Hills to Santa Monica Boulevard. A dreamlike, melancholic love letter to Los Angeles, seen through Demy’s camera.

Day 4 of A Week of French Language Cinema at Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz celebrated both France and Switzerland.

At 4 PM, in partnership with the Consulate General of France and in the presence of Deputy Consul General Dimitri Demianenko, audiences enjoyed the Oscar-nominated animated feature Amélie et la métaphysique des tubes, directed by Maïlys Vallade and Liane-Cho Han.

We were delighted to share this special moment of cinema with such an engaged and enthusiastic audience. 🎬✨

Three artworks, three curators: Gustave Caillebotte edition.

Caillebotte observed and depicted the men in his life—including his brothers, bachelor friends, fellow sportsmen, and the workers and bourgeois of his Parisian neighborhood—subverting artistic and gender norms of his time.

On 28-29 August 1991, Poland, France and Germany came together in the town of Weimar to open a new chapter of European cooperation.

Thirty-five years later, the Weimar Triangle remains an important platform for dialogue, consultation and joint action — bringing our three countries closer together and contributing to a stronger, more united Europe.

Over the past three decades, cooperation within the Weimar Triangle has evolved in response to new challenges and opportunities.
