Plasencia STEAM Magnet 2nd graders brought literature to life this week!

🐷🐷🐷 Engineering a straw house strong enough for the Three Little Pigs required serious creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. From initial sketches to structural testing, our young engineers explored material strength, stability, and design—proving that learning happens best when hands-on inquiry leads the way. 🎉 It’s the final countdown for our 5th Grade Tigers! 🎉

We are wrapping up an amazing year with a jam-packed final week of celebrations for our oldest students.

Student vs. Staff Kickball Game: 👟

Picnic & Field Day: ☀️ A day of outdoor fun, games, and soaking up the sunshine.

5th Grade Autograph Breakfast: 🥞 Yearbooks, sweet treats, and signing adds memories that will last a lifetime.

🚜 Little farmers, big adventures!

Our TK students wrapped up a fantastic year of learning with a fun-filled trip to Underwood Family Farms. They took a tractor ride, picked fresh kale, broccoli, and strawberries, and even got to feed the animals and watch a special show! 🍓🥦

Such a perfect way to celebrate a great year!

It’s been an absolutely packed and unforgettable week for the Plasencia Tigers! 🐾✨

Alongside our amazing 5th-grade culmination, our littlest Tigers ventured out for a fun-filled day at the Long Beach Aquarium 🐠🐢, and we celebrated our wonderful TK/Kinder students as they promoted to Kindergarten and 1st grade! 🎓🎉

To top it all off, a massive congratulations to Mr. Montanez, our CS Hero, who was honored at a special ceremony at The Google CodeNext Campus! 💻🏆

We are so incredibly proud of all our students, staff, and our amazing community. Go Tigers! 🐯❤️
