What an incredible day at ISANA Nascent Academy! 🖌️⭐ We celebrated the unveiling of two beautiful murals—powerful reflections of our students’ identities, our shared values, and our commitment to a community where every child feels seen, heard, and inspired.

These murals are now part of our story, reminding our students every day that their voices, histories, and dreams matter. 💛

Thank you to everyone who joined us—your support made the day so special! It was a joy to open our campus and celebrate the creativity that makes our community shine.

Huge gratitude to our amazing artists, (Growth Mindset) and (S.O.A.R.), and to our partners, Heart of America and CIM, for helping bring these meaningful spaces to life.
Thank you to our charter school partners and to the office of Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove for celebrating with us and supporting education and the arts. 💛

🍃Exploring nature! 🌿That’s exactly what Ms.Dickerson’s 2nd/3rd grade class and Ms.Castro’s 4th grade class from 42nd Campus did!

They spend a day at the Rosemont Preserve with the Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy!

Students explored the 7.75 acres of wilderness, learned about native plants and diverse wildlife like lions, bobcats, hummingbirds, and butterflies!

This was a fun way to start !

🏀Dribble, dribble, shoot! The Jr. Clippers basketball league at the Crenshaw Family YMCA opened its doors to ISANA students! 🏀

Over the past seven weeks, a dedicated co-ed team ages 12 to 15 has honed their skills in dribbling, passing, and shooting!

Guided by their coaches, they’ve discovered the importance of teamwork, respect, and perseverance. By supporting each other and celebrating their victories, they’ve shown that all their hard work and dedication truly are meaningful and will always pay off! 🏆

Durante las últimas siete semanas, un equipo co-ed de 12 a 15 años ha perfeccionado sus habilidades en el rebote, el pase y el tiro.

Guiados por sus entrenadores, han descubierto la importancia del trabajo en equipo, el respeto y la perseverancia. ¡Al apoyarse mutuamente y celebrar sus victorias, han demostrado que todo su esfuerzo y dedicación son realmente valiosos y siempre darán sus frutos! 🏆

🏀 The are encouraging students to stay sharp in their math and social- emotional learning skills through the game of basketball! 🏀

How? Through the NBA Math Hoops program and (42nd Campus) is lucky to be part of this incredible initiative!

Many students have:

📚Participated in The Reach to Achieve Minutes Challenge- a program that helps students track the minutes that they read
🌟Gone to several Clippers home games
🏀Attended All-Star events

The two basketbal hoops will help keep our students healthy and strong!

🫟We are still looking back on an UNBELIEVABLE night! ISANA Nascent Academy (Jefferson Campus) hosted a to celebrate ! 🫟

Students, families, and staff expressed themselves through art! This art activity centered on several themes like love, joy, healing, and togetherness! 💙

Staying away from traditional lectures or assemblies created a space where reflection took place in a fun, engaging way!

Some of the items attendees painted throughout the night include:

🦋Uplifting words
🦋Imagery inspired by heritage and hope

ISANA Nascent Academy (Jefferson Campus) was the last school to perform Newsies Jr.! This incredible production was a hit at both our campuses!

What made this performance unique? ISANA Nascent Academy (Jefferson Campus) had several lead roles played by female students, breaking away from the traditional cast of male actors!

The stage crew handled all the scene changes and even wore black t-shirts with big letters and the word CREW on the backside of their shirts!

ASB students from ISANA Nascent Academy (42nd Campus) captured behind-the-scenes moments with photographs! The impact of Newsies Jr. is here to stay because the message is one that everyone will remember!
