Coldwater and Burbank is sitting somewhere around 95°F, the pavement is radiating heat, and December feels very far away. 🫠

Meanwhile, back on our family farm in Oregon, the Christmas trees are still growing, being shaped, and getting ready for their trip south later this year.

For now, we’ll be over here thinking about cool evenings, warm lights, and the first truck arriving in Los Angeles. 🌲

That’s about how we’re feeling right now — the kind of full, happy exhaustion that comes after Christmas morning, when the gifts are opened, the feast is finished, and the dishes are finally done.

We are so deeply grateful for every one of you who chose us this season. Your loyalty and kindness mean more than we can say, and we’re honored to be part of your holiday traditions. 🎄🤍

We’re heading into a well-earned rest, but once we’ve caught up on sleep (and maybe recover from the cookies), we’ll be sharing farm updates with you throughout the year.

Meet Dennis, our honorary (and very temporary) lot mascot 🦎🌲

From time to time, little forest critters hitch a ride with our trees—and when they do, we take that responsibility seriously. Every guest we find gets handled gently and returned safely to their native habitat in Oregon, where they belong. This year’s surprise traveler is Dennis the Clouded Salamander.

Cool Dennis facts:
• Clouded salamanders are lungless and breathe through their skin (wild, right?).
• They spend most of their lives hidden in old-growth forests, under bark and fallen logs.
• They’re considered a species of concern in parts of their range due to habitat loss—another reason careful forestry matters.
