đ We are excited to share the Arts Education Collective 20th Anniversary Celebration Book!
Back in 2002, the Board of Supervisors launched the Arts Education Collective to make sure all of the Countyâs young people have access to the many benefits that arts education provides. Today, this coalition is an award-winning national model of public-private partnership and collective impact.
To mark the milestone, weâve put together a Celebration Book that highlights two decades of work and progress in making equitable and accessible in LA County.
The Collective includes school districts, charter school networks, arts organizations, teaching artists, County agencies, and philanthropic partners. So, fittingly, the Celebration Book acknowledges and thanks hundreds of individuals, organizations, and agencies who have come together to accomplish more than any of us could have achieved alone.
We invite you to explore and share the book linked here: https://bit.ly/3r0owXT, and learn about ways to engage with the Arts Ed Collective! In coming weeks, weâll feature excerpts and artworkâsome of it commissioned by student artists. Help us build the next 20 years of arts education for our young people, in our schools and our communities!
