Honoring service, storytelling, and excellence both in and out of uniform🎬

On May 23, 2026, during the recent Military & Veteran Entertainment Awards Gala, CPT William Stroud took to the red carpet to interview actors, actresses, entertainment professionals, and distinguished guests attending the event. The annual gala celebrates veterans, service members, creators, and industry leaders who are helping shape authentic portrayals of military and veteran experiences across film, television, digital media, and culture. Among this year’s nominees were several Army Reservists recognized for their contributions and impact within the industry.

Actor Dennis Quaid joined fellow celebrities, active-duty service members, podcasters, creators, and supporters from across the country for an evening recognizing leadership, creativity, and the lasting impact of storytelling within the military and veteran community.

From meaningful conversations to unforgettable moments under the lights, the event highlighted the strong connection between military service and the entertainment industry.

Shaping Futures: Army Reserve Inspires at Southshore Career Fair

On April 29, 2026, Soldiers from the 371st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB) joined local partners at the Southshore Elementary School Career Fair in Menifee, California — connecting with students and planting seeds of leadership and service. 🌱🎖️

Representing the U.S. Army Reserve, our Soldiers stood alongside hometown heroes from the Menifee Fire Department, EMTs, Sheriff’s Department, UPS, animal shelters, and more — showcasing diverse careers that make our communities stronger. 🚒📦🐾

Whether it’s defending the nation or supporting the neighborhood, these professionals showed students the many ways to lead, serve, and succeed.
🙏 Thank you to Southshore Elementary for hosting, and to our Soldiers for showing what it truly means to — both in uniform and in the community.
