California’s cost of living crisis is crushing communities. The last thing small businesses need is a 1960s wiretapping law being weaponized against them.

That’s exactly what’s happening. A handful of billboard attorneys are exploiting the California Invasion of Privacy Act - a law written before the internet existed - to file thousands of frivolous lawsuits against businesses and nonprofits. The “crime”? Using standard and legal website tools.

As a result, legal fees squeeze already tight budgets and pass costs off to consumers.
It’s time to fix this. Join the REFORM C**A Coalition at ReformC**A.com.
