LAPD Transit Services Division would like to honor Deputy Chief Donald Graham for an incredible 30 years with the Los Angeles Police Department.

For his final day in uniform, Chief Graham chose to do what he’s always done best serve the community. He spent the day riding Metro trains, speaking with riders, and connecting with the public. He was also joined by his new partners at the Los Angeles School Police Department.

It was the perfect sendoff for a leader who never stopped showing up for the people of Los Angeles.

Thank you for your service, Chief. Wishing you nothing but continued success and fulfillment in your next chapter!

This special division of the annual event honors the dedication and resilience of firefighters and law enforcement officers who take on the challenge of climbing all 75 floors in full gear.

Today, we had the honor of thanking Gabby and the amazing team at L.A. Donut for stepping up in a big way during the recent fires. From the very first day, they showed up at the command post making sure first responders were fed, hydrated, and encouraged when we needed it most.

Gabby, your kindness and generosity kept us going. 💙 To you and your team, please accept this small token of our gratitude it’s nothing compared to the heart you’ve shown our officers and community.

Thank you for reminding us what true community looks like. 🍩✨
