On Sunday, Acting Consul General Yulia Rachinsky appeared on the iconic Chabad Telethon.
Congratulating Rabbi Cunin on the 46th year of the Telethon, Consul General Rachinsky spoke about Chabad’s vital presence in fighting antisemitism, strengthening the Jewish spirit and always being an address for Israeli‘s traveling the globe!
She also pointed out the great spirit of the young Israelis who have been fearlessly defending their country since October 7th.

Two years ago, the Beautiful Six were recovered from Gaza.

Hersh. Ori. Eden. Almog. Alex. Carmel.

They survived 11 months of captivity in the Palestinian Hamas’ dungeons, before the terrorists murdered them in the tunnels of Rafah.

Today, no hostage remains in Gaza. But we carry those who never made it home forever in our hearts.

May the memories of the Beautiful Six be a blessing. 🕯️

For Christians, these are the waters where Jesus walked on water, calmed the storm, and called His disciples. For Jews, the area is home to Tiberias, one of Judaism’s four holy cities and an important center of Jewish learning for centuries.
