ON TUESDAY MAY 17, 2011, THE LOS ANGELES CITY COUNCIL WILL BE VOTING TO PERMANENTLY CLOSE TWO OF YOUR LOCAL FIRE RESOURCES.

THIS CLOSURE WILL RESULT IN:
- PERMANENT CLOSURE OF FIRE TRUCK 58
- PERMANENT CLOSURE OF ENGINE 258
- 50% REDUCTION OF FIREFIGHTERS AT FIRE STATION 58
- NO ADDITIONAL PARAMEDIC AMBULANCE
- DELAYED RESPONSE TIMES
- PERMANENT CLOSURE ON JULY 5, 2011
