Together with families we transform lives through a unique combination of clinical case management, financial wellness pathways and whole-family mentorship. We walk alongside our families as they regain stability through physical and emotional well-being and financial independence. Our next chapter: Cutting the red tape out of the public benefits system ➡️ making it easier for people to get the help they need.

This new chapter is being written by people on the frontlines:

🟢 Social workers
🟢 Nonprofit leaders
🟢 People with lived experience in homelessness

New chapter coming! In 18 years as a nonprofit, we worked with people living in poverty in Los Angeles.

Even though families were getting jobs, they were still stuck in poverty.

So we looked harder at the issue.

🟢 Benefits come from federal, state, and local sources. They’re not coordinated.
🟢 There’s no single guide explaining what’s available.
🟢 There’s no resource showing “benefit cliffs” - when a small increase in income results in a large decrease in benefits. Fear of losing benefits like healthcare and housing discourage households from earning more and moving off public assistance.

These insights led to a new approach to disrupt the entire system.
