ASUCLA BOD Members/Alumni ASUCLA was founded in 1919 to deliver needed student services and activities not provided by the University itself.

Many years of student efforts has produced the ASUCLA of today: an organization possessing the largest college store in the United States, an extensive non-residential campus food service program and a network of services and programs. All these achievements fulfill the basic purpose of ASUCLA - to serve UCLA students.

Congratulations to our graduate representatives who worked hard on the GOLD referendum and ensured the word spread on campus! Not only did GOLD pass, but the GSA elections also saw higher voter turnout than the previous year by double ✨

Up next, the BLUE referendum powered through our amazing undergraduate representatives. USA elections take place May 8-15!

Efforts to raise participation in this year’s graduate election season proved successful, doubling the voting turnout and informing students on GOLD long-term benefits.

To support UCLA students affected by the recent, devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) is establishing the ASUCLA Student Relief Fund to give back to those in need.

The ASUCLA Student Relief Fund will provide basic needs to students impacted by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. Donations are now being accepted on an ongoing basis.

In time with Women’s History Month, we recognize the work of Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) Marketing student graphic designer Xiangzi “Zora” Xu as her inspiring, female-forward illustration of Josie Bruin earned an Honorable Mention at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) awards ceremony.

All UCLA students, staff and faculty are invited to attend Associated Students UCLA’s (ASUCLA) grand opening of SAMBAZON in Ackerman Union. SAMBAZON, which stands for Sustainable Management of the Brazilian Amazon, is the world’s largest brand of organic and Fair-Trade certified açaí products.

Located on Level-1 of Ackerman Union, SAMBAZON opened to the UCLA community on Sept. 25, 2023, with freshly made açaí bowls. Please join ASUCLA on Feb. 26 to formally welcome SAMBAZON as a new ASUCLA Restaurant space and sample açaí, first come, first serve.
