OH MY, WHAT A MONDAY! 🎉🦉💚

Last Monday’s assembly was one big celebration of excitement, anticipation, and VERY happy students! After a month of our Annual Fund classroom challenges, the moment everyone had been waiting for finally arrived… time to announce our winners! 🏆

Popsicle parties for TEN classes! 🍦 A dance party for Mr. Victorin’s class! 🪩 And a HUGE congratulations to Ms. Foss’ and Mr. Yin’s classes, who tied with an incredible 86% family participation!

The grand prizes? An escape room adventure for Ms. Foss’ class and a behind-the-scenes In-N-Out field trip for Mr. Yin’s class! 🎉

But the biggest win of all? Our incredible CDA community coming together to support our school! đź’š

A HUGE thank you to every family who participated, donated, and helped make this possible. These are the moments that make CDA so special! 🦉❤️

A few highlights from last weekend’s LAUSD STEAM Fest 🚀

CDA joined schools from across the district to celebrate creativity, science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through student artwork, robotics, performances, and hands-on STEM activities.

We loved sharing some of the projects and activities happening in our STEM Lab and seeing our students represented at such a fun and inspiring event 💙🔬✨
