Ryan’s grandfather made this little rocking horse for him when he was little Ronan’s age. Carpenter Ken was able to repair it today at the Repair Fair; maybe someday Ronan will pass it on to his kids!

Just a few days away! We’re so excited to bring you the second ever Eagle Rock Repair Fair, which will help keep 100+ items out of the landfill and save our neighbors some money too!

The important details:
• Each person may bring up to 3 items, 1 max per repair category.
• We’re expecting volunteers for the categories listed, but last-minute changes sometimes happen.
• No microwaves or CRT TVs, please.
• Repairs will be individually evaluated and are not guaranteed to be taken on, but we’ll talk to you about it!
• Please bring any needed parts: bicycle tubes, a particular thread/wool if you want it used, a new clock mechanism you want installed, etc.
• BE KIND. These are your neighbors, volunteering to help you if they can.

See you on Sunday morning!

You’ve got a week to go through your possessions and look for things that need fixing, the ERNC Sustainability Committee is bringing you another FREE Repair Fair next Sunday! Volunteers from the community will be at ER City Hall to help you keep items that are still useful out of the landfill, and save you money to boot.

Come early for the best chance of getting something repaired, and bring any special parts you might need. Fixers have a selection of basic threads, etc., but if you need a color matched, or a clock mechanism or bicycle tube replaced, for example, it’s best to bring that. We’ll do our best to fix your items, and volunteers will discuss options with you when you check in.

Spread the word and see you there, let’s fix some stuff!
