💛 LOOK AT THIS INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY! 💛Today’s Family Day of Service was buzzing with generosity as volunteers of all ages rolled up their sleeves to give back!

Together, we brought the LOVE - making hundreds of school supply kits, encouragement cards and self-care kits for children in need!

From little hands to big hearts, every volunteer helped make sure LA students start the school year feeling prepared, supported and cared for.

We’re overwhelmed by the incredible response to this Saturday’s Family Day of Service, supporting our School Supplies for Success campaign! To everyone who registered to volunteer on Eventbrite: THANK YOU! We are thrilled to have you join us on Saturday, August 29th! 💛

PLEASE NOTE: We are officially at capacity for Family Day of Service. We cannot accommodate walk-ins or drop-ins on Saturday. If you did not register in advance, we’re sorry we won’t be able to add you to the event. But there are still ways to support our drive! 📣 School Supplies for Success is here!

For most families, back-to-school means shopping for new notebooks, pencils, and backpacks. But for thousands of students in Los Angeles experiencing homelessness, those basic school supplies are simply out of reach.

From July 1 through August 31 we’re building 9,000 complete school supply kits that will be distributed to students through our ® program; helping children start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

Every kit includes:
👝 Pencil pouch
✏️ 2 pencils
🖊️ 2 pens
🧽 Wedge eraser
🔺 Pencil sharpener
🗂️ Poly bag
📓 Notebook
🖍️ 12 colored pencils
📏 Ruler
