Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈 The legacy of Pride is rooted in community action and standing up for what's right, a spirit that continues to drive our advocacy today. Every student deserves to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment where they feel entirely safe and seen.

Student health doesn’t happen in isolation, it takes schools, families, wellness centers, and community partners all moving together. Today’s Wellness Network Learning Collaborative at The California Endowment was a reminder of exactly that. We shared data, celebrated a year of powerful programming, and left more connected than when we walked in.

Federal Medi-Cal cuts put children’s health coverage and school-based healthcare at risk. Big corporations should help fund the health care their workers rely on. We were proud to have our Senior Program Manager of Oral Health, Esther Yepez, attend the unveiling of two new mobile dental clinics from LA Unified and QueensCare Health Alliance. These clinics will bring free, high-quality dental care directly to children and young adults across Los Angeles, helping remove barriers to care and keep students healthy, confident, and ready to learn.

Student voices were front and center at the 2026 National Community Schools and Family Engagement Conference! Our Student Catalyst Council, representing students from across L.A. Special thanks to Nekhoe Hogan, Advocacy Manager, for his outstanding mentorship and leadership in helping these young advocates shine.

Celebrating youth-led creativity, storytelling, and advocacy at the CYBHI CALI Spring 2026 In-Person Convening & Youth Summit 🎨✨

During the Gallery Walk, participants explored powerful visual pieces created through CALI Campaign, from photography, posters, and digital art to murals, original designs, and community storytelling. Each piece reflected the voices, experiences, and leadership of young people driving change in behavioral health and wellness.

Our Program Manager, Taylour, and Director of Operations, Robert Vidana, also highlighted WYA’s work throughout the gallery, helping uplift the creativity and impact behind each piece.
