There is no greater reward for a foundation than seeing a former student soar while keeping their community in their heart. Today, we want to share how incredibly proud we are of Jonathan Park (Dumbfoundead) on the release of his memoir, SPIT: A Life in Battles.
In the book, Jonathan reflects on his transformative years at Bresee. Our Executive Director, Seth Eklund, still remembers a young Jonnie finding his voice here in the late 90s—a voice that would eventually represent the soul of Koreatown.
Jonathan, thank you for the countless hours you’ve spent returning to our center to mentor our youth. You are the ultimate example of what happens when talent meets community support.
