Five years ago, we made a promise to this city: to be intentional about creating a Los Angeles where hate has no home. Today, "LA is For Everyone" isn’t just a campaign—it’s the official motto of our city.

What started as a vital spark has grown into a powerful mission found in every corner of our 469 square miles within LA. Whether you see it on a sanitation vehicle in the East Valley or a digital billboard at LAX, the message remains the same.

No matter which neighborhood you call home, the message is clear: You are welcome here! This journey has evolved into a simple, undeniable rhythm defining our work at the LA Civil Rights Department: I Belong. You Belong. We Belong.

Thank you, Los Angeles, for five years of growing, listening, and standing together. Diversity isn't just a feature of our city—it is our greatest strength and our super power. Here’s to the next five years of belonging!
