Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month through the families we serve. 🏡

Oscar and Elizabeth Hernandez spent three years searching for a home after deciding it was time to leave their apartment. The stairs and lack of a washer and dryer had become too much, but they remained committed to finding a home that better supported their needs.

Their story represents what homeownership can mean: greater comfort, stability and the opportunity to build a lasting legacy.

Protecting a home means protecting a family’s legacy. 🏡❤️

This week, we’re proud to celebrate our NHS staff and real estate agent Nick for representing NHS of Los Angeles County in Philadelphia at a national convening focused on heirs’ property, also known as tangled titles.

Leaders traveled from communities across the country to share ideas, learn best practices, and develop stronger solutions to help families maintain ownership of their homes and preserve generational wealth.

NHS is proud to be part of the year-long NCST heirs’ property partnership, bringing what we learn back to Los Angeles County and continuing our work to help families protect the homes and legacies they’ve worked so hard to build.
