Today marks one year since the devastating Palisades and Eaton fires forever changed our communities. As we remember what was lost, we honor the strength of neighbors who continue to rebuild together, knowing that recovery is about more than rebuilding structures. It is about restoring identity, connection, and hope.

We are committed to working alongside our communities through the impacts of these fires and the long recovery that follows. Because resilience is not built alone, we stand with communities as they heal and rebuild by supporting and expanding Fire Safe Councils, strengthening preparedness education, elevating community voices, and building partnerships that support recovery and resilience, ensuring that communities are not only safer, but stronger and more connected.

By the numbers in L.A. —
As we close out 2025:
🔥 85 NFPA Firewise USA sites
🔥 34 Fire Safe Councils
… and more to come.

Wildfire safety starts at home, but it works best when neighbors work together.

Firewise USA®, led by NFPA, gives communities a proven path to reduce wildfire risk through education, home hardening, and defensible space.

MySafe:LA is proud to support the California Fire Safe Council, bringing neighbors together to take meaningful, organized action.

When communities unite, we protect what matters most: our homes, families, and neighborhoods.
