On Monday, our officers conducted a traffic stop at Foothill College for a vehicle code violation. During the stop, officers observed evidence consistent with narcotics activity, which led to a lawful search of the vehicle. During the search, officers located a loaded firearm, a large-capacity magazine, an altered imitation firearm, suspected ma*****na packaged in multiple bags, and additional items commonly associated with narcotics sales.
One adult suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges related to fi****ms, narcotics, and possession of prohibited items on school property.
There is no ongoing threat to the campus community.
