Los Alamos Airport is operated by the County of Los Alamos, NM (www.losalamosnm.us). As such, this page adheres to the County's Criteria for Public Posts, which is posted below. Criteria for Citizen Postings to Los Alamos County pages By using Facebook, Los Alamos County does not intend to create a public forum, but rather to maintain a moderated, civilized on-line posting option directly related to the County’s posting. Opinions expressed on the page in response to County postings do not reflect the opinions and position of the County, its governing officials, or employees. Individuals must use their first and last name when posting. Postings must be topically related to the particular County posting being commented upon or the post will be removed by the Facebook Coordinator whose contact information is listed on the respective page. Language must be appropriate for citizens, (including minors) to read. In addition, posts will be removed if they contain: 1. Profane language or content; 2. Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation; 3. Sexual content or links to sexual content; 4. Solicitations of commerce; 5. Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity; 6. Political advertising for a candidate for elected office, or, political issue; 7. Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems; 8. Content that violates a copyright, trademark or other legal ownership interest of any other party; 9. Accusations that a particular individual is guilty of any criminal conduct or immoral activity. Defamatory or slanderous material will not be permitted. While honest criticism of a County employee, political figure, project or issue is a legitimate posting, accusations or allegations of any violation of criminal law or misconduct will not be permitted. If a person believes that there is a legal basis to bring a violation of criminal law against the County, any of its employees or any third party, then appropriate alternative means of registering the complaint must be utilized. NOTE: This criteria is not all inclusive.
